Riot delights LoL fans with the cinematic of the new season

Fans of League of Legends remember the fiasco that was the cinematic trailer of the previous season. In 2024, Riot Games decided to make a comeback, and it seems the company succeeded in pleasing the fans.

Developers release a colorful trailer every January with the start of a new season in their MOBA game. This tradition began in 2018, but in 2023, someone came up with the idea to save on the video. The studio received a heap of negative comments at that time. With the new cinematic, however, there are only positive reviews.

"As a veteran player with thousands of hours, I'll honestly tell you: I felt like quitting the game at the end of the last season. I just felt burned out. But this cinematic gave me chills. It's like I'm back in the time when I woke up with thoughts of the game and its world, where I spend a lot of time with friends. Very happy to see that the Runeterra universe continues to evolve," said one of the most indicative comments.

Earlier, the developers also detailed their plans for the year 2024.
